Students seeking employment in the finance sector vaguely want a finance-related role without a clear understanding of how specific roles differ.
Milestone Financial Analysts (MFA) is an undergraduate finance society that specifically targets future career options in the investment banking and capital market divisions of investment banks and private equity funds.
Given MFA’s clear identity and rigorous curriculum fully supported by passionate alumni, our members were able to secure both full-time and internship positions at prestigious institutions based in Korea and abroad.
MFA is a one-of-a-kind platform that provides essential training to facilitate successful preparation for future careers through:
(1) Industry-tailored, comprehensive curriculum involving industry / company analysis, financial modeling, valuation, etc. that helps foster basic skillsets needed in the field
(2) Direct, customized guidance from senior alumni who have recently secured full-time / internship positions via English resume clinic, mock interview sessions, database of vivid employment reviews, etc. so that MFA activities are naturally aligned with employment
(3) Constant networking opportunities on the back of 1-on-1 mentoring system and special lectures from mentors
We hope the MFA program can serve as a “milestone” for undergraduate students who have a strong desire to build a career as an investment banker or private equity fund manager, and further enhance the Sogang presence in finance.
